Turkmenistan is located between such states as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iran and washed by Caspian Sea. It has the smallest density of population among other Central Asian countries. The population of Turkmenistan is 6 million people for the area of 491, 210 square kilometers. The landscape is predominantly made of semi-deserts and deserts.  Turkmenistan has a cold desert climate which is severely continental. Summers are hot and dry, while winters are mild and dry, but can damp and cold in the north of the country. The most comfortable time to travel in Turkmenistan is in spring and autumn. Ashgabat is the capital city of Turkmenistan. 98 % of the buildings are made of marble which was registered in the Guinness Book as the world's most marble city. The reason is that marble buildings are cooler in summer. In the shore of the Caspian Sea like an oasis in the desert, there is a beautiful resort city of Awaza where you can visit during your tours in summer. Turkmenistan is rich in history and culture. Their ancestors were the assimilation of local tribes with the invaders from Mongolia called Oghuz tribes. They were nomads.
